Alexandra Hammond joins panel of HSJ Value In Healthcare Awards

As winners of the Energy Efficiency category at the 2014 HSJ Value in Healthcare Awards, Essentia are delighted that Alexandra has been invited to join the judging panel for the 2015 awards.

Alexandra and her fellow judges will review and score entries in the Energy Efficiency category. The shortlisted teams will present to the panel in June, with a winner being selected shortly after. All winners will be presented with their award on 22 September 2015 at Grosvenor House Hotel, London.

The HSJ Value in Healthcare Awards seek to recognise and reward outstanding efficiency and improvement by the NHS. A successor to the HSJ Efficiency Awards, the Value in Healthcare Awards continue to recognise excellence in use of resources, and specifically seek out examples of demonstrable improvement in outcomes, both within back office functions and clinical initiatives.

It’s exciting and an honour to be selected as a judge for these awards. Managing energy efficiency is fundamental to delivering sustainable healthcare – environmentally, but also economically. It’s fantastic to see how many organisations are really grabbing the opportunity to reduce their environmental impact and fixed costs.
