Healthcare Planning team awarded Frimley Health contract

Essentia’s healthcare planning team has been awarded three contracts to support Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust with its ambitious plans of redevelopment.

Frimley Health is a newly formed trust, a result of the recent merger of Frimley Park Hospital NHS Foundation Trust with Heatherwood and Wexham Park Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.

The Essentia team will work with Frimley Health to redevelop:

  • The Heatherwood site
  • Wexham Emergency Department
  • Wexham Women‘s and Children’s Department

The work will involve a number of elements including looking at capacity modelling; reviewing options for expansion and/or reconfiguration of existing departments and developing briefs and designs.

Essentia’s Healthcare Planning team is gaining a strong reputation for innovative thinking as well as delivery. Led by Tina Nolan, the 15-strong team has already successfully delivered over 500 projects in the UK and internationally, and has a unique range of professional backgrounds and capabilities including architecture, clinical, health informatics, NHS operational management, finance and Lean consultancy.

We are delighted to have the opportunity to assist this newly merged trust with their investment plans to deliver maximum benefit from the combined asset base.
